Dynamic viewports, website content and layout are a great way to have content change based on device.
Images can be different resolutions based on the device. When using a mobile device the resolution and image size would be smaller, this is so that you reduce load times and mobile data used.
With the layout changing based on device this helps navigation and useability.
Content can also be changed so that you only display a small amount of text with a more button on mobile devices. That way if the user does want to read more they can click the word “more” and the full article will be displayed. When viewing the same content on a PC the full article will be displayed.
Completing the website design this way helps keep your search engine ranking from being reduced and users on all devices having a good experience using your website.
Next blog will be discussing pop-ups on your website.
